BRIEF PROFILE OF ENGLISH EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM

The English Language Education Study Program (PBI) at STKIP Pasundan is committed to preparing prospective educators who are competent in English language proficiency and teaching methodology. With a "B" accreditation from BAN-PT, this program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes linguistics, literature, and English language teaching methodology while upholding the Pasundan values of Nyunda (preserving Sundanese values), Nyantri (fostering religious and moral values), and Nyakola (pursuing knowledge and education). Students are guided by experienced lecturers to develop language skills, cultural understanding, and professionalism in education. Through an approach that integrates theory and practice, graduates of PBI STKIP Pasundan are expected to contribute positively to the world of education and the wider community.

VISION: “The Academic vision of the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) STKIP Pasundan is to develop excellent education, research, and community service in the field of English language education based on Islamic values, Sundanese values, and technological literacy.

STUDY PROGRAM MISSION

To organize a qualified English language education and teaching, in accordance with standards and student-centred learning, and to use a value-based approach to support the teaching-learning process.
To organize English language learning designed to be relevant to real life by incorporating local traditions, culture, and wisdom into the learning process.
To conduct continuous and innovative research on English language or English language learning aimed at developing knowledge, so that it is relevant to community needs and has a real impact on people's lives.
To conduct continuous community service directed at enhancing innovation in English language learning that is based in and for the community.
To establish formal collaborations with various organizations or institutions, both at a national or international level, to mutually support the achievement of common goals.
To manage the PBI Study Program independently with principles of accountability and transparency to ensure that every policy and activity is justifiable and easily accessible to relevant parties.

PROGRAM STUDY OBJECTIVES

To produce graduates of English Language Education who are not only academically proficient in the field of education and teaching, but also possess religious and cultured personalities, and are adaptive to technological advancements.
To produce high-quality research in English language and English language teaching with research outcomes that are relevant to educational needs and have a tangible impact on society.
To establish a Program Study governance system designed to consistently and sustainably improve the quality of services, education, and outcomes.
To foster synergistic collaborations with educational institutions and/or agencies at regional, national, and international levels to implement the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (three pillars of higher education), especially in the field of English language education.
