PASUNDAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Pasundan Teacher Training and Education College (STKIP) was established in 1986, STKIP Pasundan Cimahi is an educational institution that aims to develop students as cadres of educational personnel (teachers). The establishment of the Pasundan Teacher Training and Education College is a manifestation of the ideals of the Pasundan Higher Education Foundation to have 4 (four) Higher Educations, including:

1. Pasundan University ( UNPAS ).
2. Pasundan College of Economics ( STIE ).
3. Pasundan Teacher Training and Education College ( STKIP ).
4. Pasundan College of Law ( STH ) in Sukabumi.

In an effort towards the establishment of STKIP Pasundan, it was pioneered through a meeting between the board of the Pasundan association, the Board of the Pasundan Higher Education Foundation and the Coordinator of Kopertis Region IV West Java on January 25, 1986, it was agreed to establish STKIP Pasundan. And as a follow-up to the results of the meeting, the Board of the Pasundan Higher Education Foundation with Decree Number: K/17/SK/YDPP/II/86 dated February 15, 1986, appointed the STKIP Pasundan Preparatory Committee, then on July 12, 1986 through the decree of the Chairman of the Pasundan Dikti Foundation Number: 69/SK/YDP/IV/1986 the establishment of STKIP Pasundan was inaugurated with the composition of its board of directors including:

- Chairman: Drs. Ateng Sopala
- Assistant Chairman I: Dr. Maman Abdurachman
- Assistant Chairman II: Drs. Nana Gunawan
- Assistant Chairman III: Drs. HM Odon Kardana

The presence of this institution was welcomed by all levels of society, because it is the right answer to the needs of teachers and professional education personnel. In a relatively short time, this institution has grown rapidly. If at the beginning of its establishment this institution had three study programs, namely PMPKn, English Language Education and Sports and Health Education, now Physical Education, Health and Recreation (PJKR) with 50 students, with 15 teaching staff. In 2000 this institution had 800 students with 90 teaching staff and has been able to present its graduates to the community, nation and state as many as 2,000 Bachelor of Education. Also based on the Decree of BAN Perguruan Tinggi, Number: 006/BAN-PT/Ak-IV/V/2000, dated May 29, 2000, the PMPKn Study Program was Accredited with a B Rank, and Sports Education/PJKR received a B Rank. While Number: 012/BAN-PT/Ak-IV/VI/2000, dated June 23, 2000, English Language Education received a B Rank.
